The whole area of the fair of Salzburg with Salzburg arena is stamped by a heterogeneous appearance and is to be led back on a successive architectural expansion without real whole planning developing concept.
Task of the study order is the structural reorganisation of the whole area.
Our suggestion contain beside the partial new building of fair halls the creation of a connecting arch which ties together offshore entrance halls and delivery zones of all hall areas earth-storey with each other and organises independent, from the ground removed, a linearly structured surface offer for seminar and office areas.
The 60-m-high hotel tower forms starting point and town planning accent, a multifunctional conference centre with various arrangement possibilities forms at the other end of the braces the opposite pole.
