Wolfurt Secondary School
The enlargement of the secondary school in Wolfurt in the area between existing old building and western classroom wing takes over concerning structure and architectural expression the style of the west-sided existing building part. The connection with the old building is managed by two glass bridges. The diminished forms of the buildings and precise design elements permit a reassurance of the heterogeneity of the whole situation and create a new functional and formative unity. The generous light exposure of the interiors occurs by tape windows. Window tapes of room height underline the higher, public use of the ground floor zone with assembly hall, library and music room. In the upper floors there are administration rooms and special classrooms.
