Georg uses natural, regional, and recyclable materials such as wood, straw, clay, and sheep\u2019s wool. One interesting project is his \u201cDenkwerkst\u00e4tte\u201d in Hittisau: an old stable was converted into a work and production building, using straw bales for insulation, clay from his own excavation pit, and an ice storage system for heating and cooling.
